Located on University Boulevard, close to the University of Nottingham's University Park campus, is the idyllic Highfields Park. Spread across 121 acres, Highfields Park offers much to do, making it a great place for the entire family. Well endowed with water features, magnificent trees and exotic plantings, Highfields Park is also a fantastic spot to unwind and relax. Visitors can rent a boat and explore the lake, or play some croquet. The park also has a fabulous children's play area, and offers several fun events at the Lakeside Arts Centre. The numerous on site activities offered makes Highfields Park popular amongst locals and visitors alike.

Finding prayer facilities at Highfields Park will not be possible. Muslim visitors can either locate a clean and quiet area in the park to offer their prayers, or they can visit one of the many mosques and Islamic Centers in Nottingham, such as the Islamic Centre Nottingham, Masjid Umar and Masjid Al Khazra.
Visitors to Highfield’s Park will be able to find the Pavilion Café and Gallery Café at the Lakeside Arts Centre, as well as some concession stands. While the food offered at any of these cafés and stands will not be Halal certified, Muslim visitors are sure to find suitable vegetarian and seafood items.
