Located inside Birmingham’s impressive Millennium Pont building, Thinktank is an award winning science museum offering an experience like no other. Home to ten interactive themed galleries, Thinktank offers a variety of fun and educational things to do for individuals of all ages. Visitors will come across over 200 hands-on exhibits based on science and industry, natural sciences, industrial heritage, the future and much more. Apart from learning about how steam engines are powered and the workings of a chocolate wrapping machine, visitors to the museum will also get to see full size locomotives and aircrafts, a state of the art planetarium and the interactive outdoor Science Garden.

Planetarium and Science Garden
Muslim visitors looking for prayer facilities at Thinktank will not be able to find any within its premises. They will thereof have to visit one of the many mosques and Islamic Centers in the city, such as the Birmingham Central Mosque, Central Mosque Ghamkol Sharif, Madina Masjid and Masjid Muhul Islam Siddiqia.
Thinktank does have a café and a coffee cart where visitors will be able to get a bite to eat and some delicious beverages. Visitors to the museum will also be able to find a variety of snacks at the Science Garden Kiosk. While the food served here will not be Halal certified, Muslims visiting the museum can dine on suitable vegetarian and seafood dishes, or they can visit one of the several Halal restaurants in the city of Birmingham.
