Located in Houston's Bay Area, Space Center Houston is the city’s most important tourist attractions. It is the official visitor's center of NASA's Johnson Space Center and is an absolute must-visit when in the city. It is home to numerous space related exhibits and offers an authentic look at the behind the scenes happenings at NASA. Visitors get to experience what it’s like living inside the International Space Station and experience a virtual rocket launch, they also get to meet and dine with real astronauts and hear about their experiences, and see deep-space missions being developed. While at Space Center Houston, visitors will also come across samples of moon rocks, spacesuits, models of space capsules and other artifacts from actual space program. The center is also home to the renowned Mission Control, which is the monitoring center for all NASA manned space flights.

Prayer Facilities

Space Center Houston does not have prayer facilities for Muslim visitors. Muslim tourists will therefore have to offer their prayers at one of the mosques or Islamic Centers in the city of Houston, such as ISGH Masjid Hamza, Houston Blue Mosque, Masjid al-Amin, Al-Noor Society Central Masjid and Masjid al Jama.

Halal Food

Space Center Houston offers visitors the unique opportunity to dine with a real astronaut and hear first hand stories. The city of Houston has quite a large popular of Muslims, which means that Muslim tourists will be able to find a selection of Halal restaurants serving an array of cuisines.
