Located on the most southernly tip of the island of Ibiza is one of the most trendiest and iconic beaches in Ibiza; Las Salinas. This popular beach is known for its long stretch of soft golden sand surrounded by a nature reserve consisting of pine trees, sand dunes and the famous Las Salinas Salt Flats, which the beach is named after. The sea here is particularly salty, making it incredibly easy for swimmers to stay afloat. Since the beach is well known for its nightlife scene, it is best for Muslim tourists to avoid visiting the attraction at nighttime. There are also nudist sections, which are best avoided by Muslim visitors. Those looking to avoid Las Salinas’s party scene can instead go scuba diving, surfing and windsurfing. They will also be able to rent catamarans and electro boats to explore the bay area, or trek up to the old watchtower which was once used to spot looting pirates. Visitors must also make it a point to take a stroll on the beach and explore its secluded coves. Some lucky tourists may even spot a celebrity or two while here as it is a popular gathering spot for the rich and famous.

There are no known prayer facilities at Las Salinas Beach. Muslim visitors will however be able to locate a couple of mosques in Ibiza, such as Masjid Yousef Ibn Tachafin, the Moulvi Idris Mosque and Comunidad Musulmana de Santa Eulalia. If the beach is not as crowded as it is during the summer months, Muslim tourists can look for a clean and quiet area to offer their prayers.
There are numerous excellent restaurants located on the bay, for those looking to get a bite to eat while at Las Salinas Beach. While Muslim visitors will not be able to find Halal certified food here, they are sure to find restaurants serving a variety of vegetarian and seafood dishes. For those looking specifically for restaurants serving Halal food, due to the sizeable Muslim population in Ibiza, there are a few Halal restaurants.
