Description

When in San Sebastian, a great place to take kids is the Eureka! Zientzia Museoa, a science museum located within the Miramón Technology Park. The museum encourages learning through the 169 entertaining and interactive experimental models found here. While Eureka! Zientzia Museoa is mainly great for kids; there are also numerous attractions that are designed for families. While here, visitors will come across the Txikiklik zone, which is meant for kids between the ages of 4 and 9. The zone is meant to teach kids about the five human senses, as well as the home of the forest animals. Astronomy enthusiasts will enjoy a visit to the Digital Planetarium, which includes an astronomical observatory and more. The science museum also includes a roller coaster, a MAXFLIGHT flight simulator, an Electricity theatre, a F1 car, an Orion Spacecraft and many more interactive systems.

Prayer Facilities

The Eureka! Zientzia Museoa does not offer prayer facilities for Muslim visitors. There may however be an empty room that visitors can use to offer their prayers. If unable to find a place to pray while at the museum, tourists could visit the Masjid De Renteria, which is a well known mosque San Sebastian.

Halal Food

There is a café-restaurant at the Eureka! Zientzia Museoa. Muslim visitors can either dine on the vegetarian and seafood dishes found here, or they could take along some snacks and make use of the covered picnic area in the museum. Muslims tourists looking for Halal food in particular are advised to make inquiries at the local mosque.
