Since Munich is home to quite a number of Muslims, the city also consists of a couple of mosques. These mosques are located all over the city, like in Sendling and Ludwigsvorstadt. While at the Viktualienmarkt, Muslim tourists requiring prayer facilities could ask to be directed to the nearest prayer facility when needed.
Although there are numerous fantastic restaurants surrounding the Viktualienmarkt, these restaurants may not be Halal. Muslim tourists will however be able to locate several Halal restaurants in the city of Munich. While at the Viktualienmarkt, visitors must make it a point to sample some of the fresh produce on sale.
