A trip to Granada is incomplete without a visit to El Bañuelo of Granada, or the Arab Baths of Granada. Located at the foot of the Alhambra, in the Carrera del Darro, at the bottom of a private house, the Banuelo baths is just one of the few baths that have survived. These Moorish baths are said to be over a thousand years old, and are great examples of the skill of the Spanish Arabs. The baths are known to be the oldest and best-preserved Arab baths in Spain. This 11th-century Islamic bathhouse is incredibly charming, and offers a great retreat from the heat. It is extremely popular among tourists and must not be missed.

While there are no known prayer facilities at El Bañuelo, Muslims visiting the Moorish bathhouse will be able to find prayer facilities nearby. Since the attraction is located in Albayzin; which is known to have a large Muslim population, Muslim tourists will be able to use the facilities offered at the Mosque of Granada or Masjid-e-Taqwa.
The district of Albayzín is known to be predominantly Muslim, therefore making it possible for Muslim tourists to find a number of Halal restaurants to dine at. Those looking to get a bite to eat after visiting El Bañuelo could therefore ask the locals to direct them to the best Halal restaurant nearby.
