Cubbon Park, located in the heart of Bangalore’s business district is a wonderful place to get a few moments of tranquility in the ever so busy city. Known famously as the Garden City in India, Bangalore has some fantastic green areas that locals as well as tourists can enjoy. A sprawling garden of over 100 acres, Cubbon Park is one such area that is enjoyed by both. The park is surrounded by some impressive old buildings such as the massive Vidhana Soudha, the high court building known as Attara Kacheri and the gothic style State Central Library. Visitors can enjoy a picnic at the park and stroll through the lovely expanse of the gardens while the children spend some time playing in the amusement park or riding in the toy train. With other popular landmarks in close proximity to the park, visitors should definitely include a visit to Cubbon Park when in the area.
