A must-visit attraction for a fun outing with the whole family is the Birla Industrial and Technological Museum. Associated with the industrial development in India, the Birlas established this museum in 1956 to offer visitors the opportunity to learn more about their achievements and for them to learn the basic concepts of science. Galleries in the museum have displays on metals, transport, biotechnology, communication, life science, mining, mathematics, electricity, and pretty much anything else science related. Visitors will be able to partake in some of the numerous activities organized here, such as, science shows and games, sky observation sessions, 3D movie screenings and more. The interactive museum also consists of an aviary, snake pits, aquarium, rabbit house and underground coal mine for those interested in learning more about those fields.
