For visitors looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of Pune, a visit to the Bund Garden is a definite must. Located about 2 kilometres from the Pune Railway Station, Bund Garden is a popular spot among locals and tourists alike and is one of the most well-known parks in Pune. The park is situated on the right bank of the Mula- Mutha Rivers therefore making it possible for visitors to take a boat ride through the backwaters of the river while here. There is also a jogging track for those looking to get in a bit of exercise. For those with kids, events like horse rides and magic shows are frequently organized. Bund Garden is also known as Mahatma Gandhi Udyan, as the bridge found here goes across the river to the Gandhi National Memorial.
