Parco Virgiliano - or the 'Park of Remembrance' - in Naples is a beautiful park located on the west tip of Posillipo hill and is a fantastic place for a family visit. Featuring a series of terraces, the park is positioned at an elevation of 150 metres above sea level and provides breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery ranging from Mount Vesuvius to the Amalfi and Sorrento coasts to Pollione's amphitheatre. The park also includes a number of playgrounds specially meant for children of all ages as well as several kiosks that are perfect for a relaxing summer visit. The small amphitheatre at the park is host to several events during summer - which is the best time to visit Parco Virgiliano.

Even though designated prayer facilities at Parco Virgiliano will not be available for visitors, plenty of open space will be available at the park to use during prayer times.
