Sempione Park - or Parco Sempione - is a huge park located in Milan's historic centre. Covering an area of over 386,000 square metres, the park was established in 1888 and is an excellent spot for the whole family to visit to spend a few leisurely hours. Visitors to the park will be offered fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and will also be provided with ample photography opportunities. Also found within the park are the Arena Civica - a multi-purpose stadium host to many sporting and cultural events, the public aquarium which houses over 100 different types of marine life and the Torre Branca tower - the 6th highest structure in Milan. The park is also conveniently located in close proximity to the Sforza Castle gardens and the Arch of Peace - making it a great place to stop by while sight-seeing in the area.
