Gasing Hill in Petaling Jaya - also referred to as Bukit Gasing by locals - is a 160 metre hill located in the Bukit Gasing Forest Reserve. The foresty area is located in the midst of the city and is a popular spot amongst locals since it offers a breath of fresh air - away from the hustle and bustle of the city - without having to travel a long distance. The area offers an abundance of flora and fauna and is a scenic spot for a hike or picnic - with beautiful flowers in full bloom throughout the reserve. A suspension bridge is perhaps amongst the highlights of the reserve, though it might be roped off for repairs from time to time. Visitors will be offered a plethora of breathtaking sights such as glittering lakes in the distance as well as misty views of the busy city far away.
