The beautiful architecture
Muslim tourists requiring prayer facilities will be able to locate them without much difficulty as the city of Lille is known to house a number of masjids. Masjid Al Imaan de Lille, Masjid Al Houda de Lille, Masjid Al Furqaan de Lille and Masjid Badr de Lille are some of the more prominent mosques that are frequented by the residents of Lille and Muslim tourists alike. While at the Grand Place, tourists can ask the locals for directions to the nearest mosque.
Although the area around the Grand Place has cafes lining its streets, Muslims tourists looking for Halal food, will find that these restaurants may not be Halal. They will however be happy to know that the city of Lille does have some Halal restaurants that they could dine at. If unable to locate these restaurants, visitors could dine at vegetarian or seafood restaurants after ensuring the ordered dish does not contain any ingredients that are not-halal.
