When in Nice, a visit to the world famous Promenade des Anglais is a must. The 7 kilometre Promenade; as it is known by its locals runs along the pebbly shores of the Mediterranean and is the perfect place to people watch. It is also ideal for a leisurely stroll, and lining the shores are numerous royal blue chairs which are great for those looking for a bit of relaxation. The bustling Promenade is also where people come to roller blade, ride bikes, and jog. Tourists wanting to see the whole Promenade can also rent a segway on rue Halevy. Visitors to the Promenade must also make it a point to visit Colline du Château, which is located at the end of the Promenade. They can either climb its numerous steps or take a lift to the top to admire the breathtaking view from the hill. While here, visitors will find a playground and a few cafes. Tourists can also visit the famous Negresco Hotel, which is said to be the most popular hotel in Nice. The Promenade des Anglais is thus one of the best places in Nice to enjoy a beautiful summer day with the family; as it offers attractions for everyone.

While Muslim tourists will not be able to find a prayer room on the Promenade des Anglais, they will be able to locate quite a few mosques in the surrounding areas of the city of Nice. They may also be able to find an empty, quiet space on the Promenade to offer their prayers.
There are numerous food vendors and cafes that visitors will come across while at the Promenade des Anglais. Muslim tourists may however not be able to locate any Halal restaurants here. They can either dine on vegetarian and seafood items, or can ask for directions to the nearest Halal restaurant. Visitors to the Promenade must make it a point to try a delicious crepe from one of the many vendors, after making sure no non-Halal items are added.
