Though designated prayer facilities at Waimarama Beach will be unavailable for Muslim travellers, plenty of private area will be available around the beach area to use during prayer times. Travellers can also visit the Hawke’s Bay Baitul Mokarram Masjid and Islamic Centre Trust in Hastings which is not located too far away.

Muslim travellers looking for Halal food near Waimarama Beach can visit some of the few Halal restaurants in Hastings and Napier. Kilim, Thien Thai Restaurant and Hot Chick Restaurant are a few popular Halal restaurants and are located in the Hawke’s Bay-Napier region.
