Fukuoka Asian Art Museum is considered to be one of the world's best museums for modern Asian art. The museum is dedicated to contemporary collections of art from various countries across Asia and focuses on Asian lifestyles, with no influence from Western art. The museum is located within the Riverain Center Building on the 7th and 8th floors and is just a few minutes away from the Tenjin station. Visitors will be able to witness over 2,700 pieces of modern art from as many as 22 Asian counties. The Fukuoka Asian Art Museum is also considered to be family-friendly and allows visitors to take photographs, provided the flash is switched off.
