The Krabi Crystal Lagoon is located at the Thung Teao Forest Natural Park and is famed for its spectacular scenery and breathtaking natural beauty. The Thung Teao Forest National Park is a magnificent rainforest area home to a diverse range of flora and fauna - including several rare species of animals and plants. The lagoon itself is a magnificent eco-tourist spot, surrounded by lush greenery and rainforest. The trail to the lagoon stretches on for about a kilometre into the forest through a walkway and begins at the wildlife sanctuary office. The aquamarine shade of the lagoon water together with the surrounding greenery create a picture postcard scene and offer plenty of photography opportunities as well. A visit to the area is recommended for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts who are sight-seeing in the area.
