Kor Kwang Beach is a beautiful beach located towards the north of Koh Lanta and is a popular spot amongst tourists and travellers. The name Kor Kwang itself translates to "deer neck" and is named after the unique sway shape of the beach area. It is famed for its pristine white sand shores, shady coconut palms and glittery blue waters. The beach is also popular for its watersports as well as snorkelling and diving - due to the beautiful coral reeds, caves and many dive sites at the beach. The shallow water and gentle nature of the beach also make it ideal for children and the beach is not very crowded during most months of the year. Due to the beach’s popularity as a tourist attraction, several accommodation options, eateries and stalls are also found around the area.
