Mae Nam Beach

Description

Mae Nam Beach is amongst the most beautiful beaches of the area and provide fantastic views of the coastline. Its name Mae Nam translates to "river", with Mae being the word for mother and Nam being the word for water. The beach stretches on for a distance of over 7 kilometres and it is famed for its powdery white shores and calm, crystal clear waters. Rows of coconut trees can be seen lined along the beach and provide picture-perfect scenery for beach lovers. The beach area is particularly scenic early in the morning during sunrise and in the evening during sunset when the sky bursts into a palette of colours. The beach is very popular amongst travellers and tourists and several accommodation options as well as gift shops and boutiques will be available in the area.
