Benjavadee is amongst the largest and most popular spots in Maenam for handicrafts. It is located on Ring Road in Maenam, towards the north west of Samui Island and is housed in a large two-storey building. An extensive range of ornaments, home ware, furnishing and decorative elements are available for sale at the shop, with items ranging from rattan mats to China tea sets to beds and dining tables. Most items are brought from the Chiang Mai region of northern Thailand and are of extremely high quality. The store also arranges shipping for larger items such as furniture, giving tourists the option of buying just about everything available for sale. Numerous other shops and boutiques are also located in close proximity to Benjavadee, giving shoppers more shopping options in the area.

The handcrafts and ornaments
Muslim travellers looking for a mosque in Maenam will have to visit the Masjid Nurulihsan which is the only mosque in Ko Samui. It is located a short distance away – about 15-20 minutes away from Maenam. It is also possible to enquire the staff at the store for a private area that can be used during prayer times.
