Haad Rin Nai

Description

While Haad Rin Nok is the larger beach of Haad Rin, Haad Rin Nai is the smaller beach and is also referred to as the Sunset Beach. Unlike Haad Rin Nok which is famed for its parties and entertainment options, the Haad Rin Nai area offers a more laid-back atmosphere and is usually the quieter section of the beach. Though the beach area is rocky and does not provide suitable conditions for water sports, Haad Rin Nai is ideal for travellers who simply want to sit back, unwind and enjoy the view of the sea in the distance. Due to its popularity as a tourist spot, several accommodation options, gift shops and boutiques will also be available around the beach area.

Prayer Facilities

There is plenty of open area around the beach area to make use of during prayer times. For Muslim travellers looking for a mosque to visit during prayer times, it is possible to head down to the Haad Ban Tai beach area which is home to a small Muslim community. Ban Tai is located about 20 minutes away and the locals in the area will be able to direct you to the nearest mosque.      

Halal Food

Though numerous eateries will be available around the beach area, the availability of Halal food may be limited. Most eateries in the area serve alcohol and it is best to head down to Haad Ban Tai beach area located about 20 minutes away for Halal food options. Ban Tai is a Muslim village and is home to quite a few Halal restaurants serving an enticing range of local food.
