Fraggle Rock is a popular view point in Ko Tao and a walk to the spot is considered to be amongst some of the favourite activities done by travellers to Ko Tao. The walk starts at Sairee and takes travellers on an uphill path, though numerous sights and scenery. The walk takes around an hour's time and travellers will need to remember to carry plenty of water, snacks and sunscreen along with them. The best time to visit Fraggle Rock is usually during sunset or sunrise when the sky turns into a breath-taking palette of russet hues. Mosques and prayer facilities at Fraggle Rock itself will be unavailable but there will be sufficient private space in the area that Muslim travellers can make use of during prayer times. The nearest mosques to Ko Tao are located at Ko Phangan in Haad Ban Tai and Ko Samui.
Halal food at Fraggle Rock as well as Ko Tao will be quite limited. Visitors to Ko Tao are advised to carry along with them a few snacks and food items which can be purchased from some of the other nearby cities in Thailand.
