Prayer facilities at Mango Bay itself will be unavailable, but plenty of open private space will be available in the area for Muslim travellers to make use of during prayer times. Visitors may also visit Ko Samui which is home to some of the nearest mosques to Ko Tao. Muslim travellers who wish to visit more prominent mosques may need to visit some of the larger cities in Thailand.
Halal food at Mango Bay and Ko Tao will be quite limited and it is recommended that travellers bring along some snacks and food items with them while travelling. It is also possible for Muslim travellers to visit some of the many Halal restaurants in Ko Samui – which is not located too far away – for more dining options.
