Jomtien Beach - also commonly referred to as Chom Tian Beach - is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand and is a few kilometres away from Pattaya. Jomtien Beach is particularly well-known for its water sports and it is home to numerous water sport activities and festivals throughout the year. Popular water sport activities include jet skiing, parasailing and scuba diving and visitors will be able to purchase all necessary equipment from a number of shops in the vicinity. In addition to the water sports, the beach provides the ideal tranquil atmosphere to spend a quiet leisurely evening and take in dramatic views of the sun setting in the distance. A visit to the beach is recommended for both beach lovers and water sport enthusiasts.
