Zechawa Valley

Description

Zechawa Valley - or the Zechawa Gully - is the second of the three valleys that comprise Jiuzhaigou. Similar to Rize Valley, it stretches across a distance of 18 kilometres and is at an altitude of over 3000 metres. Its highlight attractions include the Long Lake - which is the most prominent lake in Jiuzhaigou. Being the largest and deepest lake in the area, Long Lake measures over 7 kilometres in length and is over 100 metres deep. The Five-Colour Pond is yet another highlight of Zechawa Valley, featuring an underwater landscape of a kaleidoscope of vivid colours. The Seasonal Lakes - comprising 3 different lakes - is also a popular attraction in Zechawa Valley and can be found in close proximity to the main road.
