The Rize Valley is one of the three valleys that make up Jiuzhaigou. Being the south-western branch, Rize Valley stretches across a distance of 18 kilometres and features a number of attractions. The Primeval Forest - an ancient woodland - is one such attraction and offers stunning views of the mountains and cliffs in the area. Numerous lakes are also found at Rize Valley such as the Swan Lake, Grass Lake, Arrow Bamboo Lake, Panda Lake, Five Flower Lake and the Mirror Lake. The Pearl Shoal area is also another highlight attraction at Rize Valley and is a slope of land with a stream that ultimately connects to the famous Pearl Waterfalls. A visit to Rize Valley must not be missed out on when sight-seeing Jiuzhaigou.
