The Sichuan Science and Technology Museum located in downtown Chengdu is a prominent science and technology museum in the country. The museum stretches across an area of over 60,000 square meters and houses over 600 exhibits in over 20 exhibition halls on four floors. Visitors to Sichuan Science and Technology Museum will discover numerous interactive exhibits on items ranging from science to aerodynamics to robotics to mathematics. Several interactive displays as well as an indoor playground housed on the 4th floor will keep visitors - children in particular - entertained for ages. Some of the highlights of the museum include the robotic orchestra and it is a popular attraction amongst tourists and locals alike. The museum is a popular attraction and is visited by tourists and locals alike throughout the year.
Most exhibits at the museum can be viewed free-of-charge except for about 4-5 exhibits.
