Ningbo Ocean World

Description

Ningbo Ocean World - also known as Ningbo Haiyang Shijie - is one of China's most unique large-scale aquariums and is a popular attraction in Ningbo, attracting locals and tourists alike throughout the year. Stretching across an area of over 27,000 square metres, Ningbo Ocean world has a 9 thousand tonne capacity of water and comprises an Aquarium and Ocean Theatre. The Aquarium area features a number of zones for fish tanks, coral reefs, penguins, amphibians as well as a shark-feeding interactive zone. A number of sight-seeing tunnels are also available. The Ocean Theatre of Ningbo also offers various display zones as well as a marine scientific education gallery and lecture hall to offer visitors a better understanding of the fragile nature of marine life.

Ticket Price

Tickets cost around 150 RMB for adults and around 100 RMB for children. Senior citizens will be charged half the price.
