The Jinjiang Action Park is one of the largest modern amusement parks around downtown Shanghai and is an extremely popular attraction in the area. It was opened to the public in 1984 and offers over 30 attractions within the park including 4 roller coasters, several water rides, a ghost train and the massive Shanghai Ferris Wheel - which is perhaps the highlight of the park. The ferris wheel measures over 100 metres in height and is capable of carrying up to 378 passengers in 63 different cabins during a single rotation. A ride lasts up to 25 minutes in duration and offers fantastic views of the bridges, rivers and mountains in the distance. In addition to the rides and attractions, Jinjiang Action Park also offers a number of shopping and outdoor recreation options for travellers, to ensure that any type of traveller will enjoy an excellent visit.
Entrance tickets cost around ¥60 per person. Additional charges for rides will apply.

The giant Shanghai Ferris Wheel
Though designated prayer facilities at Jinjiang Action Park will be unavailable for Muslim travellers, there is plenty of private area at the park that can be made use of during prayer times. Travellers may also visit some of the mosques near Jinjiang Action Park such as the Songjiang Mosque in Songjiang, which is the closest mosque to Minhang.
Though Halal food options at Jinjiang Action Park itself will be limited, Muslim travellers may visit some of the Halal restaurants near Jinjiang Action Park in Minchang such as The ShangHai Shiraz, located on the Hongmei Road.
