Spanning across a massive area of 600 hectares, Dafu Mountain Forest Park is located a few kilometres towards the west of the Panyu District Bridge in Guangzhou City. It is an extremely popular tourist attraction in the area and is flocked by tourists throughout the year, wishing to experience the fantastic natural scenery of the area. Dafu Mountain Forest Park is paradise to nature enthusiasts and offers picture-perfect scenery of several lakes, colorful flowering plants as well as an abundance of fauna. The park area is particularly frequented during the weekends and is ideal for a quiet relaxing stroll. It is commonly referred to as the "oxygen bar of Panyu District" by locals for its refreshingly cool climate and is well-worth a visit for travellers sight-seeing around the Panyu area.

Though designated prayer room facilities at Dafu Mountain Forest Park will be unavailable, plenty of private space will be available at the park to make use of during prayer times. It is also possible to visit some of the mosques near the Dafu Mountain Forest Park area such as the Huaisheng Mosque which is one of the main mosques near the Panyu area.
Though Halal food at the Dafu Mountain Forest Park itself will be unavailable, it is possible to visit some of the Halal restaurants in Guangzhou and Panye for dining options. Some of the well-known Halal food spots in Panye include the halal food canteen in the Panyu Polytechnic and the Muslim food stall at Shawan Nan Village. Halal restaurants in Guangzhou include Bosphorus, Aussie Pizza, Xinyue Muslim Restaurant and Maedah. Several vegetarian options are also available at restaurants near the Dafu Mountain Forest Park, but it is recommended that you enquire about how food is prepared prior to dining.
