The Zhuhai City Museum located in downtown Zhuhai offers visitors a glimpse into the rich history and past of ancient China. Established in 1999, the museum covers an area of over 3 acres and is a prominent landmark of the city. The structure of the building itself features traditional Chinese architectural design elements with many towers, palaces, corridors and pools. It features a total of 13 exhibition halls with various items-of-interest on display including an ancient ceramics collection, old photographs as well as a number of cannons. Zhuhai City Museum also features a garden and a few artificial hills surrounded by beautiful flowering plants and shrubbery. For travellers with a penchant for history and culture, the museum is a must-visit spot when travelling to Zhuhai.

Though designated prayer facilities at the Zhuhai City Museum will be unavailable, it is possible to enquire for a private area in the museum that can be made use of during prayer times. It is also possible for Muslim travellers to visit the main mosque of Zhuhai – the Zhuhai Xiangzhou Mosque – which is the only mosque in Zhuhai.
