One of the largest parks in Abu Dhabi, Khalifa Park is a popular attraction as well as a prominent landmark in the city. The park features its own miniature train, library, aquarium, maritime museum and historical theme ride, providing plenty to do for the entire family. The landscape and natural scenery of Khalifa Park also offers delightful views for nature lovers and the park includes a series of fountains, lakes and waterfalls. Most of the park's design feature Islamic design elements and Arabic architecture, which are note-worthy. Picnic facilities are also available throughout Khalifa Park for families to spend a leisurely evening. Khalifa Park is home to the Murjan Splash Park - an exciting kiddies water park featuring seven water-based attractions - guaranteeing hours of fun-filled excitement for children.
