The Al-Jamelah Weaving Centre is located in Datu Odin Sinsuat in Maguindanao. The Al-Jamelah Weaving Centre was founded to empower Bangsa-Moro women in Maguindanao and to help them support themselves, as well as preserve the tradition of inaul weaving too. The centre is well known for weaving traditional inaul cloth that is worn in Maguindanao for cultural events that includes wedding and celebrations. Inaul cloth is made with intricate or simple patterns with each colour having a symbolic meaning as well. Depending on the intricacy of the pattern, weaving can take upto 3 to 15 days as they use sophisticated traditional methods to hand weave the cloth. Here visitors can observe how the women make the special inaul cloth by hand weaving and even purchase items they like.The centre has become a popular place to visit because of the high quality inaul clothing and items that are being hand-woven here.
