The Chocolate Hills are dome-shaped limestone formations that are located in Bohol in the Philippines. Several of these formations cover more than 50 square kilometres, and create a beautiful, unusual landscape. There are estimated to be about 1776 domed hills scattered throughout Bohol .The Chocolate Hills are named as such due to the grass on these domes turning brown during the dry season and are considered as a major attraction. According to a local legend, these hills were formed when giant named Agoro fell in love with a mortal woman named Aloya. When she died, he wept with grief and his tears are supposed to be the Chocolate Hills. There is even a theme park known as the Chocolate Hills Adventure Park with lots of exciting activities like bike zipping, vine climbing and so much more. There small hotels and restaurants located within the area as well. There are a few hills that are suitable for climbing but not all of them.
