Mines View Park is located in northeast Baguio and is one of the most popular parks that is regularly visited by locals and tourists. You can climb the stone-covered stairway to the observation deck and experience a spectacular view of the mountain range and the mining town of Itagon, with it’s now abandoned gold and copper mines. You can even hire a pair of binoculars for a better view. To avoid the crowds it is best visited during the weekdays. Mines View Park is best visited at an earlier time during the day due to chances of heavy fog that can occur during certain months of the year and obscure the view. With an amazing view, it is one the best place to take some great photographs. You will also find several vendors selling handmade items like baskets and blankets, tribal artifacts as well as silver products and jewelry too. There are several vendors and stalls selling all kinds of snacks, drinks inclusing other types of food.

Muslim travelers to Mines View Park will find plenty of outdoor spaces to pray quietly even though there are no prayer facilities at the park itself. While there are no Mosques near the park, the closest ones are The Baguio Grand Mosque in Sepic Road and Darul Arqam Mosque in Upper Mabini Street.
Muslim travelers to the park will have to ask if there is Halal food at the location from the vendors, stalls and canteens to be certain. If not there, are Halal restaurants to be found located within Baguio city because of a high Muslim population.
