The stunning view
While Muslim tourists will not be able to find prayer facilities at Salthill Promenade, they may be able to locate a clean and quiet place outdoors to offer their prayers. If unable to do so, they could visit one of the few mosques in the city of Galway, such as the Galway Mosque.
As mentioned above, there are a few cafés on Salthill Promenade. While visitors are sure to find a good selection of food items at these outlets, Muslim tourists will have to dine on suitable seafood and vegetarian dishes as non-Halal ingredients are sure to be widely use. Due to Galway city’s sizeable Muslim population, Muslim visitors will also be able to find a few Halal restaurants.
