Side Beaches

Description

Side is popular for its long stretches of pristine sandy beaches. The two main beaches of Side are the East Beach and West Beach, both of which are located along the old city in close proximity to each other. Though both beaches are located close to each other, they have very different characteristics. The West Beach is bustling with tourists and activity and offers a number of holiday resorts, beach activities and water sports to ensure that there is never a dull moment. On the other hand, the East Beach is a quiet and peaceful place that is ideal for travellers who wish to spend a few hours relaxing under the sun. The bright sunny skies and warm climate make the beaches extremely popular during summer and attracts flocks of tourists. The beaches are busiest during the months of July and August and therefore the recommended months to visit the beaches in Side are during the months of June, September or October.
