The late 16th century Castle Rosenberg or Schloss Rosenberg is a must-visit when in the town of Zell am See for its striking architecture that is truly Austrian. Built in Bavarian style with four corner turrets and one at the center, wooden shutters, and a slated roof, this attraction is located in the center of Zell am See. Used previously for a variety of different purposes, including a private residence and a college, the Rosenberg Castle now houses the Rathaus or the Town Hall. It is also a popular wedding venue, as there is a wedding hall within the building. Also found here is the castle garden and the castle park.

While there are no prayer facilities for Muslims visiting Castle Rosenberg, there is a small mosque in the resort town of Zell am See. Muslim visitors can therefore either ask to be guided to this mosque, or they can try to locate a secluded place outdoors, to offer their prayers.
Visitors to Castle Rosenberg will not be able to find food outlets within the attraction, but there is sure to be numerous dining establishments in Zell am See town. Muslim visitors can therefore either dine on seafood and vegetarian dishes at these outlets, or they can visit one of the few Halal restaurants in Zell am See.
