Finding prayer facilities at the Museum of Natural History and Technology will not be possible. Muslim visitors will therefore have to make use of the facilities offered at one of the few mosques in the city. Some of Salzburg’s prominent mosques include the Salzburg Moschee, the Islamic Cultural Association in Salzburg, Krems Moschee and Türkischer Kulturverein Selimiye.
The ‘Stadtcafe’ is a café-bar-bistro at the Museum of Natural History and Technology. While visitors will be able to find a variety of snacks and drinks here, Muslim visitors will not be able to find any Halal certified food items. There is however sure to be a selection of suitable vegetarian and seafood dishes. The city of Salzburg is also home to quite a number of Halal restaurants.
