Located at the north part of the island of Santorini, just a few kilometers away from the lovely town of Oia, is the popular Baxedes Beach, which is an absolute must-visit. This beach is made up of black sand and volcanic rock, and the water is shallow, making it great for swimming and thus ideal for kids and families. This beautiful beach is also great for Muslims, as it is generally quite peaceful and does not get too crowded. Baxedes Beach is a retreat for those looking to unwind and relax. The beach also consists of a canteen, and for those looking to get a traditional meal, there are some restaurants nearby.

Muslims spending a day at Baxedes Beach will not be able to find prayer facilities at the attraction. They should however be able to locate a clean and quiet area on the beach to offer their prayers. If unable to, they will have to return to their hotel rooms at prayer times, as there are also no mosques in Oia.
As mentioned above, there is a canteen at Baxedes Beach at which visitors will be able to find plenty of refreshments. There are also a few traditional restaurants located nearby. Muslim tourists will not be able to find Halal certified food here, but there will definitely be seafood and vegetarian dishes on the menu.
