Famous for its scenic landscape, white sandy beach and clear cool water, Ti Top Island is a wonderful stop to make while exploring the Ha Long Bay area. Known previously as Cat Nang Island, during the French colonial period, Ti Top Island is located 14 kilometres from Bai Chay port, to the east of Ha Long Bay, and is one of the many beautiful islands in the bay worth visiting when in Ha Long city. While the crescent shaped beach on the side of the island is the perfect spot for relaxation and swimming, away from the hustle and bustle of the Vietnamese streets, its mountain top, offers some of the most stunning views of Ha Long Bay.

Although Muslim tourists requiring prayer facilities while on Ti Top Island will not find mosques or Islamic Centers, they will definitely be able to locate a secluded area on the beach to offer their prayers. Those exploring the bay on large boats might even be able to offer their prayers on the boat if needed.
Locating Halal restaurants in Ti Top Island will not be possible; however Muslim tourists requiring Halal cuisine need not worry as the boat tour generally includes a seafood meal. Those taking the tour can therefore inform the organizers of their dietary requirements, in order to ensure the meal does not contain any non-Halal ingredients.
