Located about 6 kilometres east of Thessaloniki town, is the fascinating Science Center & Technology Museum, “NOESIS”. The museum offers a variety of educational, yet fun things to do and see, for young and old, thus making it a must-visit for families. Visitors will come across interactive displays ranging from scientific topics like electricity and automobile technology, to Greek technology and more. They will also find a state of the art Digital Planetarium, a Motion Simulator theater and the Cosmotheater; a 300 seat Digital 3D cinema that is the highlight of the attraction. The Science Center & Technology Museum also has a temporary exhibition hall and hosts numerous educational programs for visitors of all ages.

The Digital Planetarium and the Cosmotheater
The Science Center & Technology Museum in Thessaloniki does not have prayer facilities for Muslim visitors. Muslims visiting the museum will therefore have to make use of the facilities offered at one of the few mosques in the city. Two known mosques in Thessaloniki include the Hellenic-Arabic Center for Culture and Civilization and the New Mosque.
Visitors to the Science Center & Technology Museum in Thessaloniki will be able to get a bite to eat at the museum’s café. They will be able to find a wide variety of food and drinks here, all of which will however not be Halal certified. Muslim visitors will therefore have to dine on suitable vegetarian and seafood dishes.
