Located on the Eastern shore of the Peninsula of Peiraiki in Piraeus is the Zea Marina, which consists of the harbors; Passalimani and Freatida. This lively area is home to about 670 berths where numerous luxurious and impressive cruise ships and yachts anchor. Unlike most other marinas, the Zea Marina also has a stunning number of shops and fashion boutiques as well as other businesses like restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, boat rental offices, gift stores and so on. Visitors can therefore take a leisurely stroll down the promenade, watch boats maneuver in and out of the marina, sip on a cup of steaming coffee at one of the harbor front cafés, or just enjoy the scenery and the wonderful sea breeze.

Although Muslim tourists will not be able to find prayer facilities at the Zea Marina, there is one known mosque in the city of Piraeus, namely the Masjid al-Andalus. Muslims visiting the marina can therefore ask the locals to direct them to this mosque when needed, or they will have to return to their accommodation at prayer times.
As mentioned above, finding restaurants and cafés at the Zea Marina will not prove to be a problem at all. While these food outlets will not be Halal certified, Muslim tourists could dine on the vegetarian and seafood dishes served here after ensuring the dishes ordered do not consist of non-Halal ingredients. Since the city of Piraeus is known for its fantastic seafood, it is a must to dine at a local seafood restaurant.
