Tucked away between rice paddies, is another prominent attraction in Minh Binh; the Mua Cave. While the Mua Cave itself is impressive, the panoramic view from the peak above is not to be missed. Visitors can climb the 500 step staircase located by the side of the cave, to the main attraction, a pagoda. From here, visitors will see stunning views of the city in the distance, limestone mountains, Tam Coc, including the Ngo Dong River and lush greenery for as far as the eye can see. While the trek may not be possible for those with leg injuries, it is recommended for everyone else. The Mua Cave is best visited at sunrise or sunset.

Finding prayer facilities at Mua Cave will be impossible, but Muslim tourists should be able to find a clean and quiet place outdoors to offer their prayers. If unable to do so, they will have to return to their accommodation at prayer times, since there are also no known mosques in Ninh Binh.
While there are no known food outlets at the Mua Cave, visitors will definitely find restaurants in Ninh Binh city. Muslim tourists will however not be able to find any Halal certified dining establishments here. They will therefore have to dine on vegetarian and seafood dishes at local restaurants, after making sure the dishes do not contain any non-Halal ingredients.
