Since Mui Ne is a fishing village, a great way to experience its culture and to get an insight to the lives of the locals is to visit Mui Ne’s Fish Market. Located at the northern end of Mui Ne town, the Fish Market is lively and chaotic and is best visited early, around 5am to 7am. This is when local fishermen come to the shore to sell their overnight catch to other locals. Visitors will get the chance to see the fish being unloaded and cleaned and then sorted and sold by the wives or family members of the fishermen. They will also come across locals bartering for the seafood of their liking. Nets full of all kinds of seafood can also be seen strewn across the shore, and the colorful boats and the sparkling water make for a great photo-op.

Finding prayer facilities at the Mui Ne Fish Market will not be possible as the town of Mui Ne is not known to house any mosques or prayer facilities. Muslim tourists may however be able to find a secluded place on the beach to offer their prayers, if there before it starts to get crowded.
Muslims visiting the town of Mui Ne will not be able to find any Halal restaurants. However, since Mui Ne is a fishing village, almost all restaurants will serve a variety of delicious seafood dishes. While at the Fish Market, visitors may also be able to find a few vendors selling some fresh seafood snacks.
