A visit to Dong Ba Market in the city of Hue is a great way to get a peek into the local culture. Located along the northern bank of the Huong River, Dong Ba is the largest commercial center in central Vietnam. Although the market is quite large, its architecture is not considered to be the highlight of a visit. The daily pace of the market and its atmosphere however is what makes it an interesting place to visit when in the city. Tourists will find a plethora of things ranging from food items to clothing within its many buildings, with each floor divided into different sections. Aside from the fresh produce found here, visitors will find cultural gifts and souvenir items of the region, while those wanting to indulge in some of Hues’ traditional cuisine will find an array of popular dishes available here as well.

Tourists will not be able to locate prayer facilities in Hue, since the city is not known to house any mosques or Islamic centers.
