KSIA has 2 Terminals: Passenger Terminal and Cargo Terminal. The Passenger Terminal is divided into different levels where the first level is the Arrivals Section and the floor above that is the Departure Section.
The airport has a Muslim prayer room on the floor above the Departure section. It also has seperate Wudhu facilities for men and women.
Halal food outlets and restaurants are available at the Airport. There is a Halal Certified Restaurant called Panarrotis Express located in the foodcourt on the Arrivals level within the airport serving Pizza's and other fast food. There are also several cafe's and coffee shops on all levels of the airport.
There are many Shuttle buses operating from out of the Arrivals area from 05:00 -22:00. Fare starts from R70. It operates every half an hour.
There are also car rental agencies available from the airport. Taxi's are also available from the airport. Fare into Durban starts from R500.

There are many shops available within KSIA. Duty Free shop is available on the airside of the departure area. Apart from that you will find many shops selling books, crafts, jewellery, souvenirs, cosmetic, african souvenits, apparels, footwear, luggage and etc.
