Demodedovo International Airport also known as Moscow Demodedovo Airport is one of the three main airports serving Moscow Russia. It is located 22 Kilometres from the centre of Moscow.

The airport is the largest airport in Russia in terms of cargo and passenger traffic.

The airport has 1 Terminal with 2 levels.

There are 2 concourses within the Terminal.

Concourses are seperated into domestic flights with some former soviet countries and international flights.

There is a hotel located 500 metres away from the airport.

Prayer Facilities

There is a Mosque located in the intermediate floor, to the left from the escalator in the centre of the waiting hall in the first floor. It is open from 09:00am - 18:00 pm.

Halal Food

There are no known Halal food outlets in the airport. However there are ample cafe's and restaurants offering vegetarian options. There are also many coffee shops like Cinnabon within the airport.

Transport

The airport has a railway station with connection to the Paveletsky Rail Terminal in centre of Moscow.

There are shuttle buses that takes you to different zones in Moscow

There are also license taxi available to take you to your destination.

There are also limousine and car rental services from the airport.

 

Shopping

There are many shops located through out the Terminal. You can find apparels, accessories, footwear, cosmetics, perfumes, leather, gift shops, bookstores, souvenir and much more. There are also duty free shops present. On the second level you can find a large shopping center.
