There are 3 Terminals in the airport namely T1, T2 and T3.
Terminal 2 is closed for renovation for the time being.
Terminal 1: There are 12 gates in Terminal 1
Terminal 3: There are 23 gates in Terminal 3
The airport also has a seasonal Hajj Terminal that functions during the Hajj season with a capacity of 1200 passengers.

There are prayer room found within the airport in all Terminals.
Halal food is available in many restaurants. You will find an International food court in Terminal 3 which caters to variety of cuisines like Asian, Mediterranean, Fast Food, Italian and etc. You can find Burger King, Upper Crest, Yum Cha, Cinnabon, McDonalds, StarBucks and etc
There are public air conditioned buses to downtown Cairo. No 362 to El Mounib. No: 356 to Tahrir and No: 799 to Shubra Ramsis.
There is an airport shuttle that runs every half hour that would take you to: Giza, Mohandesin, Zamalek, Maadi and etc.
There are car/limousine rentals facilities availble.
You can also hire a taxi to take you to your destination.
There are many bookstores, accessories, bags, travel items and miscellaneous shops found inside the airport where you can shop at. There are duty free shops at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. There are many international brands which has launched itself in Egypt for the first time in the duty free shop in Terminal 3. You can also find brands like Swatch, Mont Blanc, Boss, Bijeaox and etc.
